The Lakeland Catholic School District Board of Trustees is committed to serving the best interests of the students and parents of this Division. Coming from across our division, Cold Lake, Bonnyville, Lac La Biche, and Waskatenau, our Board truly cares about the education of our youth and remains focused on making the right decisions for your children.

Mary Anne has been a trustee for Lakeland Catholic for over 30 years.

She retired from the position of Director of the Cold Lake Public Library in 2015 after 28 years of service.

She has five adult children and two grandsons and resides in Cold Lake. 

Mary Anne is passionate about Catholic education. She became a trustee because she believes that trusteeship is a "vocation and a calling."

She is active in her parish as the coordinator of sacramental preparation at all levels. Catholic Education is a passion that compels her to ensure that Catholic values and teachings are evident in our schools.

"My faith is an important part of who I am. Among my favourite scriptures is one that gives me hope at this time."

Vice Chair

Anna Brockoff described her step to becoming a school board trustee as a logical way to support children's education. 

Anna served as School Council chair for holy Cross for the last five years. Now that her children have moved to Assumption Jr/Sr High School she decided to try her hand at becoming a trustee. 

Anna was born and raised in Edmonton. She is married and works for 4 Wing Cold Lake providing support to air operations. 

"I value the opportunities available to me to be a part of my children's education, and have a voice to advocate for all parents in my area."

Vicky Lefebvre his a retired bank manager who believes in the importance of Catholic Education. 

She lives in Cold Lake with her husband of 47-years, Gilles. Family-oriented she enjoys spending time with her children and grandchildren. 

Vicky serves as a city councillor, and works on non-profit boards including the Parish Pastoral Council and other community groups. 

Becoming a trustee was a "natural continuation from the School Councils" Vicky was a part of when her children started Kindergarten at St. Dominic Elementary School. 

She said becoming a trustee was one of the best decisions she ever made. Over the years she believes she has It has grown in her faith and knowledge.

"It is so fulfilling being able to help children when entering through to leaving our system , knowing you were a small part of it."

Bonnyville Trustee

This is Diane Bauer's second term serving on the Lakeland Catholic School Division Board of Trustees.

Diane is a champion for Catholic Education. She worked for the division as a teacher and Division Leader for three decades, and during her last 10 years took on the role of Assistant Superintendent. 

For Diane, becoming a trustee provided her the opportunity to serve her community in a different capacity. 

Diane lives in Bonnyville, where she was born and raised, with her husband Keith. She has three children and five grandchildren.

Diane and her husband enjoy travelling and have been as far as Africa, Thailand, and India. 

"Catholic Education is important to me, and I want to continue to ensure high quality Catholic education for all students attending Lakeland Catholic School Division."

Vince MacDonald

Bonnyville Trustee

Vince is a retired Lakeland Catholic teacher.

Vince taught at École Notre Dame Elementary School for 26 years and spent time teaching in classrooms in Nova Scotia, Alberta, and Manitoba for a total of 33 years.

Vince has been married to his wife Frances for over 40 years and together they have two children and two grandchildren.  

It was his passion for Catholic education that drew him to the role of board trustee so many years ago.

Vince enjoys photography, reading, being outdoors, and all things science fiction. 

"Catholic education is important to me because it is faith based. It allows the individual to grow spiritually and intellectually."

Donna Cloutier

Lac La Biche/Waskatenau Trustee

Donna Cloutier has served as an educator in Lac La Biche for over 29 years. 

She volunteers on several boards and committees and is a part of fundraising for programs such as the Kids R Worth It School Breakfast Program, the Sew and Sew Quilting Guild, the Lac La Biche Heritage Society, the Hospital Auxiliary, and the Catholic Women's League. 

She is married, has three grown children and two grandchildren, and lives in the County of Lac La Biche.

Donna played a large role in the census process that brought Light of Christ Catholic School to Lac La Biche.
