Lakeland Catholic School District strongly believes in preparing your child for their future. It’s what education is all about! We also strongly believe that technology will continue to be a part of modern society, and therefore we heavily invest in ensuring our education system reflects what’s happening in the world around us today.
Have you ever noticed how we usually only consider technology invented after we were born to be technology? All other older technology is just a “normal” part of our lives.
In fact, education by its very nature has always depended on technology. Education has a long history of using technologies such as the printing press, electricity, paper and pen, video and television, and now in the digital age, computers, the Internet and personally owned devices, such as laptops and tablets.
Lakeland Catholic School District is continually adapting and changing our technology practices and procedures to ensure your child is ready for the 21st Century. Our country, our world, and the future that your child will enter, is radically changing from what we even know to exist today. Our District takes its role in preparing students for the future very seriously. In doing so, we have a number of practices and policies we use to prepare your child for the Fourth Industrial Revolution!
