Mary Anne Penner (Board Chairperson)
Mary Anne has lived in the Cold Lake area for thirty-five years. She retired from the position of Director of the Cold Lake Public Library in 2015 after twenty-eight years of service. She has been married for forty-five years and is the mother of five adult children and a grandmother to two grandsons. Mary Anne has been a trustee for thirty years. She is active in her parish as the coordinator of sacramental preparation at all levels. Catholic Education is a passion that compels her to ensure that Catholic values and teachings are evident in our schools. The welcoming environments of our schools provides students with the opportunity to grow physically, mentally and spiritually into the person that God calls them to be.

Diane Bauer (Board Vice-Chairperson)
Diane Bauer served Lakeland Catholic School District as a teacher and District Leader for thirty-one years. During her last ten years, she was Assistant Superintendent. Diane lives in Bonnyville and she is married to Keith. Diane has three children and two grandchildren. Diane is a champion for Catholic Education and she is looking forward to her first term as a Catholic School Trustee and as Vice Chairperson of the Board.

COLD LAKE TRUSTEES
Laurent has taught in the Lakeland Region for forty-seven years. He was born in Bonnyville and has been living in the area with his wife Terry for forty-four years. They have two children and five grandchildren. Laurent enjoys playing hockey and working on his farm. He is a strong supporter of Catholic Education and is looking forward to his first term as a Catholic School Trustee.
Vicky has lived in Cold Lake for twenty-eight years. She is a retired bank manager, who has over thirty-three years of experience in the field. Vicky has been married for forty-four years and has two daughters and three grandchildren. She has eight years of experience on City Council and has served on several boards including the Chamber of Commerce, Community Futures, social services, ASBA (Alberta School Boards Association), the Lions and Parish Council. She is a volunteer reader, greeter and communion minister in her parish. Vicky's husband’s father helped to start St. Dominic Elementary School. Her husband Gilles attended school there, her daughters went to school there and her granddaughter went to school there. Vicky is a strong advocate for Catholic education because she feels that the children who get the opportunity to attend our schools get a chance to meet and build a relationship with Jesus who will be with them for life.

Margaret is a retired Lakeland Catholic School District teacher. She was a teacher at École Dr. Bernard Brosseau Middle School for thirteen years and has taught at various schools in the area and in our District for forty-one years. Margaret has lived in Bonnyville for forty-seven years and she has five children - three live in the USA, which makes it fun to travel for visits. On occasion, she teaches computer classes at Portage College. Some of her hobbies include playing bridge, golf and pickleball. For Margaret, our schools have a special atmosphere to them, which exists because of the Catholic permeation they allow.

Vince is a retired Lakeland Catholic teacher. Vince was a teacher at École Notre Dame Elementary School for twenty-six years and has taught at schools in Nova Scota, Alberta and Manitoba for thirty-three years. Vince has been married to Frances for forty-one years and they have two children. Because Catholic education is important to him, Vince decided to pursue a position as a Trustee with Lakeland Catholic School He enjoys photography, being outdoors and all things science fiction.

Colette has lived in Vilna since 1991. She currently is a homemaker, but previously served on Vilna Village Council and worked for TD Canada Trust. Colette has been married to Ben for twenty-two years and they have two children. She loves the family atmosphere at Holy Family Catholic School - everyone belongs to one big happy family! She believes Catholic Education teaches children the right morals and values they need to succeed. In her spare time, Colette loves to read, bake and cook.
